MAHAICA POINT PRODUCTIONS is a media arts company. It was founded in 2005 by producer Andy Marshall. Andy has produced several short films, working with independent filmmakers as well as Bravo!FACT, the NFB (National Film Board), the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation), and the CFC (Canadian Film Centre). He also co-created the first one-hour television series in Canada with a predominantly black cast, SOUL. In addition to co-creator, Andy filled several roles on the production: Creative Producer, Writer, Actor, and co-songwriter. Starring R&B star Keisha Chanté, six episodes of SOUL were broadcast on Vision TV in Feb-March, 2009. Mahaica Point Productions also facilitates Andy’s interests in feature films, music, theatre, and new media.
