Andy is a member of ACTRA, SAG, and Canadian Equity. A professional actor since 1990, Andy started acting in church plays (notably the musical “Purlie” with the Sound Idea ensemble). His first play outside of church was the musical “Rainboworld” with Salome Bey. He then went on to film and television, his first film roles being with the NFB in Montreal. Favorite roles so far include Othello and the young civil war soldier Nebuchanezzar Brown on the series "Mysterious Island".

He.has been thankful for the many travel opportunities acting has brought him – Vancouver, New Zealand, Fiji, Los Angeles (still looking forward to going to Africa) – for the many worlds discovered as an actor. It is the main reason he enjoys this profession, the opportunity to live life through a different set of eyes. He engages that reality with every project.
